A Collar is the physical well location in X, Y, and Z coordinates. When you are loading WellData, the collar is imported into the Top X (Collar Easting), Top Y (Collar Northing), and Top Z (Collar Elevation). The Collar is also referred to as the well top or survey location.

The Collar X, Y, and Z values can be in any units. It is highly recommended that the X, Y, and Z units are the same (all meters or all feet) for best presentation.
