You can use the keyboard to move the cursor within windows and dialogs, to select and move objects, and to double-click objects. Keyboard shortcuts can save time and create a more efficient work environment.
Here are some general guidelines about keyboard shortcuts:
Select a module in the Network Manager and use the ARROW keys to move the module up, down, left, and right.
Select the Viewer window and use the ARROW keys to pan the scene up, down, left, and right.
Select a property in the Property Manager and use the up and down ARROW keys to select the previous or following property.
Select an expandable property (with a + or - button) in the Property Manager and use the left and right ARROW keys to expand or collapse the list of properties.
Select a property in the Property Manager and press TAB to change the value of the property.
Press CTRL+TAB to change the active tab in a dialog.
Press ALT and an underlined letter in the menu bar to access the menu commands.
Press ALT+F6 to switch between the Network Manager, Property Manager, and Module Manager windows.
Press ESC to switch from any tool mode back to the default trackball mode.
Hold down the ALT key and press an underlined letter in the menu bar to access a menu command. When the drop down menu displays, you can access a command by pressing the underlined letter in the command. For example, press ALT + F to open the File menu. With the File menu expanded, press L to activate the Import command. This would be a shortcut for manually choosing the File | Import command. The ALT shortcuts can be beneficial if a command does not have a CTRL shortcut assigned to it.

You can also use the keyboard to move around in a dialog. The TAB key moves between dialog options. The SPACEBAR is used to simulate mouse clicks, allowing you to toggle check boxes or press buttons that provide you with access to other dialogs or close the current dialog. As you use the TAB key to move through the dialog, the options are highlighted as they become active. The CTRL+TAB is used change the active tab in a dialog.
